Cowboy Cal's Country Corner was a country music talent show featuring all the finest country acts from the 70's to the 90's often compared to shows such as "Hee Haw" or "The Porter Wagoner show." The show was filmed in an undisclosed Nashville studio in front of a live audience every Saturday night! Each episode featured four to five acts and ran 1 hour. The host, "Cowboy Cal" would draw almost anyone in with his demeanor and charisma and kept the show on its toes for all 24 seasons, with the last episode airing on March 7th, 1993. 30 years later, Alex Key (current country singer) filmed his song "Tomorrow I'll Be Over You" live on the set of "Cowboy Cal" and released the video on March 7th, 2023 as a tribute to this fantastic show! You might ask yourself why you've never heard of such a wonderful show.. Well, that's because that entire story is fictional and "Cowboy Cal's Country Corner was born from the mind of Alex Key Music Group inc. during filming of the new music video, where they built the entire set from scratch and created this late 80's country aesthetic all to pay tribute to some of Alex's favorite old shows that he grew up watching reruns of. With most of those shows being long off the air, Alex figured this would be the closest he could get to performing on one. With the help of his team, he was able to create something most major studios wouldn't even want to attempt, right in his own backyard in Wilkesboro, NC. Pretty impressive, huh? You're watching Cowboy Cal's Country Corner!
